One of my favorite things here in Oz has been family. No matter what has happened and gone down between me and Wayne, his family has always accepted me with open arms, and open minds. Not once has anything personal been brought up...and even with all of our problems, they have NEVER not welcomed me like a part of the family. And to be honest... I LOVE IT. I love the feeling of a big family with no drama, and I LOVE the fact that everyone in his family not only accepts me for the stupid Yank that I am, but the fact that they simply love me regardless. It's a hard thing to explain?
Waynes cousin's wife (mother of the twins I LOVE to spoil...) has taken over as my local BFF. At first I thought it was just me, but if I don't message her, she will message me.. and I love it. I love having a female to confide in face to face..... and having one that confides in me as well. Maybe it's a gal thing...but either way I just love it. What gal doesn't really?
Today was a big family get together. And upon looking around, I realized WE are probably the next to have kiddo's in the family. In a family this big, I surely never thought of it as WE were the "next" ones (unless there are some MAJOR "oops" or "surprise") Part of me was a little intimidated by this, the other part of me (the one that wants to be a mum, and not just a mum, a mum with Wayne by my side) totally embraced this. Now if only the nursing board will get on the ball so we can make some money, save some money and be set. Ohh.... it's never as easy as we hoped, right?? I can see it... it's as clear as day..just gotta be patient and let the cards fall..... Oh, please tell me you know how IMPATIENT I AM??? lol.
Well, for now I should probably hit the sack! I am working on my next challenge, but there is a problem... I put up an item for safe keeping.. .it's so safe that even *I* can't find it... Sighhhh. Will locate and blog soon..promise. "oh dear" (as mackenzie would say!)
