Well, a day earlier than we were expecting, he is home from the hospital. He is doing really well!!! At the moment he is bundled up on the couch napping, certainly thanks to some pain meds!!! It's so strange for him to be asleep without noises, twitching, big sighs/breathes, etc. He looks so peaceful!! I'm so happy. I really hope that this surgery will result in better quality sleep for him. And for myself as well. However, my main concern is the improvement of life and sleep for him.
We had a wonderful experience with the hospital. All the staff was wonderful... except for one nurse who had the personality of a wet sponge! It was shocking! Otherwise though, a very wonderful experience! Now I will be happy when he is totally pain free. I so wish that if even for an hour, I could be in pain for him. Guess when you love someone, it's really hard to see them hurting and not be able to fix it.
That's it for now, nothing else to report! Oh, 5 days until my folks arrive, and 3 days until girls night out to see "the vow"!!! Really looking forward to seeing that movie!!
