So this past Saturday was the week that I had to babysit a cute little girl all day. I sit with her every other Saturday from 8:30-3. She's a very pleasant and cute baby, so I usually don't mind. I started this Saturday off exhausted, because our douche bag neighbors had a party until 5am, that involved 2 calls to the police because of noise...which only angered them more and made them louder after every visit. Should have called again once they started screaming "call the F'in cops again!!!" Luckily, they have no clue WHO was calling. Anyways, they quit at 5am. My alarm went off at 7:15.. you do the math on how little sleep I had....
Fast forward to 8:30 a.m. Not only was the little girl sick, she was also VERY VERY crabby. She cried and threw fits ALL. DAY. She wanted to be picked up, I picked her up... she threw a fit and wanted to be put down. I put her down, she threw a fit because I put her down. It was a very long and tiresome day. I was so excited when her dad came home and I was able to turn her over and say "bye!" It made it hard not knowing her really well as this was only my 2nd Saturday with her, and as Wayne's mom said, it probably was the simple fact that she didn't feel good and that I wasn't her mom. Makes sense, but was still a long day. Birth control at it's FINEST!! lol
Saturday night was dinner at the folk's with Wayne's brother and his family which is always a good time. The boys are growing sooo fast and we love spending time with them. After dinner we came home, played rummy and had some drinks until 2:30am or so! It was a blast. And we toasted to the date, October 29. That marked exactly 3 months since I've made the official move to Perth and exactly one year since I landed on my first trip to Perth. Wow. How time flies. And just to think, that in the year 2011, I've lived longer in Perth than anywhere else. Over 20 weeks now. <3
