Day 9 - A photo of the item you last purchased
Today, knowing I had this blog entry coming up, I went on a massive shopping spree. Everything I found, I put in my shopping cart. Jewelry, household things, vacuum cleaners, silverware... you name it. Some items were cheap, some were.. well.... FAR from it. Basically, if I liked it, it went in the cart. Then I realized I had things to do, so I clicked on "empty cart", got off the internet, and went about my day ;)
So, here's a picture of the last item I purchased....
This is my FAVORITE sauce... makes a great chicken and rice or chicken and noodle dish. Is a TAD on the spicy said but adding some coconut cream to it totally takes the kick out. Wayne would probably prefer not to have the spice taken out, as he eats VERY spicy food quite easily. (Even did the BW's Blazing Wing Challenge in Florida in 2008 very easily). I however, am a wimp. I thought for years that I was just a major wimp until in July the dentist at a check up told me I have a Geographic tongue. It affects 2% of the population, and only 0.6% of Americans (go figure) and causes a burning/stinging sensation when you eat certain foods, such as spicy foods. So, it's not that the food is too hot, it literally causes me physical tongue pain. And typically drinking milk afterwards doesn't do anything. While it causes the "spicy" to leave, it does nothing for the reaction my tongue has. So avoiding spicy food is about all I really can do.
So, in addition to the above I purchased the chicken and am cooking up some grub tonight for myself. Wayne is away tonight with work, so that means I get to eat yummy leftovers for lunch tomorrow Woot! And that's not sarcasm, I'm quite a fan of leftovers for lunch. And tonight is Thursday night, which means in this household it's the night of AWESOME television. The line up is....."The big bang theory", then "Pawn Stars", "Hardcore Pawn", "Operation Repo", "Jail" followed by bed time. Exciting, yes. Don't be jealous. lol. I think it's the one night in the house that we actually agree on what to watch all night.. lol.
